Rev. Dr. Lonema Dz’djo Fabien
Rev. Dr. Lonema Dz’djo Fabien is the Director of the Institute of Canon Law Aggregated to the Pontifical Urbaniana University-CUEA (2012-to date). He was Acting Director of the Institute of Canon Law (2011-2012), Head of Department of Canon Law (2008-2011), Coordinator of Cycle of Theology (2007-2009), Senior Lecturer (2010), Lecturer (2006), Assistant Lecturer (2004), and Tutorial Fellow (2001).
Rev. Dr. Lonema Dz’djo Fabien is a Catholic priest incardinated in the diocese of Bunia in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He was ordained priest 15th August 1991. He holds a Doctorate in Canon Law (2004) and a Doctorate in Juridical Sciences (Civil Law) (2005), from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. The Institute of Canon Law, which is juridically aggregated to the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome since 31st May 2011, functions within The Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
Rev. Dr. Lonema Dz’djo Fabien is a preacher and an academician. He has authored one book and written several articles and made presentations on various topics. He has been teaching Canon Law at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa since 2001. Before then, Rev. Dr. Lonema Dz’djo Fabien was working in the Democratic Republic of Congo in the diocese of Bunia as Chancellor of the diocese, curate of Nyakasanza parish (1997-1998), spiritual director and lecturer at the St. Kizito Propaedeutic Seminary in Bambumines (1992-1997), and teacher in the St. Joseph Junior Seminary of Fataki (1989-1990 and 1991-1992).
