Funded equipment for the CUEA Innovation Hub. The Hub is dedicated for Students, Faculty, Alumni, And Community Mentors to come together and collaborate on various Research and Innovations guided by catholic values. The idea is to put at the middle of what’s called innovation “ecosystems”: a network of people and groups institutions that conduct and support innovative activity through research, product development, and more. The Hub aims to eliminate the disconnect between educational insight, research, and the innovation process. The Hub is to offer innovation in the Knowledge Triangle Approach that connects the faculties/Students/Alumni, Researchers, Pastoral agents, and Industry in approaching the human challenges in response to the needs of the time. This approach will help CUEA to tackle some of the world’s issues that affect God’s people, including big data, inequalities, health, climate change, and other related pastoral issues. These and other initiatives will help to ensure that the CUEAs’ Education, Research, and Community Service contributions remain innovative and relevant. Thus, CUEA aims to become the ‘Pastoral Innovation Hub’ for AMECEA, Africa, and the world in line with the Mission of the Founding Fathers.
