Personal Profile
Nerry is a lecturer at Catholic University of Eastern Africa with 19 years’ experience in clinical nursing, teaching, training, project implementation, and management in HIV programs. She has worked in both private and public sectors. She is currently undertaking her Doctoral of Philosophy-Maternal Child Health Nursing at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Previously, she taught at Kenya Medical Training College, provided technical leadership for LVCT-Health in program implementation and management with a focus on quality management, and served as the technical assistance lead. In addition, she participated in grant proposal writing, budgeting, and capacity building of health facility teams through training and mentorship. She has a special interest in quality management in teaching and project management. Nerry is a recognized quality improvement trainer. She has documented best practices through writing abstracts and was awarded the Kenyatta National Hospital Employee Excellence Award in 2007.
