Achievements:

At Kiriri Women’s University of Science & Technology:

  1. Established a finance and accounting students’ club to mentor and guide students on career progression.
  2. Spearheaded the development of standardized course outlines for accounting and finance units.

At The Co-operative University of Kenya:

  1. Developed an operational framework for professional courses, contributing to effective delivery.
  2. Initiated the development of a new Bachelor of Science program in Forensic Accounting and Audit.
  3. Implemented strategies as a campus timetable officer to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  4. Resolved missing marks issues at the Nairobi CBD campus, ensuring timely graduation for eligible students.

Consulting Experience:

  1. Agri and Cooperative Training and Consultancy Services Ltd. (August 2022): Conducted training on corporate financial reporting and risk management for SACCO employees and directors.
  2. SOS Children’s Home (December 2021): Facilitated training on table banking and entrepreneurship for Village Saving and Loan Associations leaders in Meru County.
  3. KUSCCO (November and October 2021): Conducted training sessions on taxation, tax compliance, and strategic plan development for SACCO managers and boards of directors in Kericho, Meru, and Juja.
  4. South-Imenti Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Limited (May 2021): Developed a USADF grant proposal to promote economic empowerment through dairy farming.

Other Academic Leadership and Contributions:

  • Collaborated with the University of Göttingen as a lead local expert in field research supervision focused on cognitive skills and digital financial services for household financial inclusion in Kenya.
