Your Dream Publisher
CUEA PRESS Profile
The growth of higher education in the AMECEA Region and beyond is one of the factors that have motivated the need for relevant and high-quality publications. CUEA established a Press as a strategy for promoting quality publications in addition to its main role of offering printing services to CUEA. The department has also published various titles.
In 2008, the department changed its name from CUEA Publications to CUEA Press. The University Council approved the Publishing Policy on 15th May 2008.

Publishing
for External Clients
While fulfilling its mandate to the University, CUEA PRESS has extended its services to external customers. An increasing number of authors now seek CUEA PRESS publishing services for books, journals, conference proceedings, project reports, among others.
With an experienced team of editors, designers, typesetters, printers and marketers, CUEA PRESS is able to produce and distribute high quality publications for the University and external clients.
Strategic
Orientation
Going forward, CUEA PRESS intends to increase and diversify its revenue sources, grow its client base, and strive for self-sustainability and profit-making. Since continuous improvement of product quality remains a key priority, CUEA PRESS continues to invest in staff development and the acquisition of relevant technologies and equipment. Besides, CUEA PRESS intends to venture into an e-publishing enterprise to broaden the platforms on which its products are available. E-publishing requires formulation of E-publishing Policy, which shall be approved by the University Council before use.
Partnerships
CUEA PRESS is keenly aware of the benefits of strategic linkages with other players in the publishing industry. Consequently, it will strengthen its role in the Kenya Publishers Association (KPA) and seek further partnerships with both local and international agencies and institutions.
