Kimamo M. Githui holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Washington University, Pennsylvania (2005), a Master of Education in Educational Technology from the University of Wales, Britain (1987), and a Bachelor of Education (Science, Hons) from the University of Nairobi (1975). He is Adjunct Faculty (Senior Lecturer) at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Consultant and Researcher with Continental Educational Training and Research Consultants (CETRC). He previously served as Dean of the School of Education at Mount Kenya University (2013-2016), Senior Deputy Director (Educational Media, Research and Evaluation) at the Kenya Institute of Education (2000-2005), and in various curriculum and educational media roles across East Africa, Sudan, Somalia and Uganda.
