University Holds CBC/CBET Workshop

The University hosted a virtual CBC/CBET Workshop on Tuesday 2026, on the theme “Preparing CUEA for Effective Implementation of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) in the CBC Era”.

The workshop was opened by the Vice Chancellor, Very Rev Prof Stephen Mbugua Ngari, who challenged the Deans and HODs to aggressively work on development of new curricula that are aligned to CBC. He assured participants of the University's commitment to support in the implementation of the CBC/CBET system.

In his remarks, the DVC Academic and Student Affairs explained that the workshop was just one of the many activities lined up as the University continues to prepare for the full implementation of CBC/CBE.
