Africa-Japan Collaborative Research (AJ-CORE) on Environmental Science 2024

Africa-Japan Collaborative Research ("AJ-CORE") Grant on Environmental Science 2024. Objectives of the Project: 1. To Understand how drought stress jointly influences plant signalling molecules and plant-associated microbial communities. 2. To Identify the joint effects of drought-mediated selection on phenotypic components of the plant-microbe holobiont. 3. To Quantify how microbially-mediated stress-resistance phenotypes promote crop climate resilience. 4. To develop methods for the design and application of beneficial microbes in soybeans.
