Dr. Thomas Githui is a Lecturer specializing in Finance, with research interests in Finance, Pensions and retirement planning. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Master in Business Administration (Financial Services) from the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management, Irving, Texas, USA, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting) from the University of Nairobi. He is a Certified Public Accountant II (KASNEB), a Certified ISO Auditor (Kenya Bureau of Standards), and a Certified Pension Fund Trustee (TDPK, College of Insurance). He has served as Chairman of the CUEA Staff Provident Fund, Chairman of the CUEA Procurement Committee, former Chairman of the CUEA Staff SACCO, former Acting Director of Quality Assurance (DQA), and former Head of Department of Accounting & Finance. He also serves as Chairman of the Muramati Primary School Board of Management and as a Board of Management member of Muramati Secondary School, both in Laikipia North.
