CUEA Hosts SEED Global Education Delegation to Explore International Business Partnerships
By Sr. Dr. Bibiana Ngundo, Coordinator, Academic Linkages
The University hosted a four-member delegation from SEED Global Education on October 27, 2026, in a visit aimed at exploring opportunities for academic collaboration and expanding students’ access to international business education.
The delegation represented four internationally recognised business schools: INSEAD in France, Bocconi University in Italy, the George Washington University School of Business in the United States, and Polimi Graduate School of Management in Italy. SEED Global Education works with more than 100 universities worldwide, facilitating academic partnerships, particularly in emerging markets.
The visitors were received by CUEA’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Justus Munyoki, who introduced them to the University’s profile and mandate. Sr. Dr. Bibiana Ngundo, Coordinator of Academic Linkages, gave a further presentation on CUEA’s academic programmes and international engagement initiatives.
The delegation also held an interactive session with the School of Business, organised by the Dean, Dr. Anne Kiboi, and her team. Academic staff and students engaged with the representatives on their institutions’ approaches to international business education and discussed potential areas of collaboration.
A highlight of the visit was a seminar for undergraduate Business and Management students titled “Building a Global Career: Unlocking Opportunities through International Business Education.” The panel discussion offered students insights into international study opportunities and global career pathways. Final-year students interested in pursuing further studies or careers abroad also had brief interactions with the delegates.
The visit provided CUEA with an opportunity to enhance its international visibility and explore potential partnerships involving academic collaboration, student and staff engagement, and international exposure. The Office of Academic Linkages will pursue the discussions in consultation with the School of Business.
