CPA Course Overview

CPA is a professional examination aimed at qualifying individuals for careers in Accountancy. Upon qualifying, one can join the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). This course provides the essential background for careers in Financial Management, Auditing, and Taxation advisory services, among others. It also equips individuals with the necessary knowledge to run their own ventures in the future.


Requirements to be Registered as a CPA Student

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with an aggregate average of at least grade C+ (C plus) or its equivalent.
  • Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) with at least TWO Principal passes, provided the applicant has credits in Mathematics and English at the Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) level or equivalent qualifications.
  • KASNEB technician, diploma, or professional examination certificate.
  • A degree from a recognized university.
  • International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examination with grade C in 6 papers, including C in both English and Mathematics.
  • Other certificates or diplomas as approved by KASNEB.
